MOST HIGH TABERNACLE

STATEMENT OF FAITH

Most High Tabernacle considers the following Truths as the foundational to an understanding of our relationship to the One True and Living God.

  • SCRIPTURES INSPIRED

The Holy Bible comprised only of the 66 books, is the inspired, authoritative, inerrant, and the only infallible word of God; preserved by God, and provided to mankind to educate them in God's Word, to lead them to faith and repentance, and as a guide all true Christian should follow in daily living.

2 Timothy 3:16 all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

  • ONE TRUE GOD

The one true God is the eternally self existent “I AM,” the creator of the universe. He has further revealed Himself as a triune Being, manifested as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Exodus 3:14 and God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shall thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM has sent me unto you.

  • THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

The Lord Jesus is 100% divine (Son of God) while simultaneously being 100% human (Son of Man). As God incarnate, He is the express image of the Living God in human form.

John 1:1, 14 In the beginning was the Word, and the word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

  • ORIGINAL SIN AND THE FALL OF MAN

Man was created good and upright in the image and likeness of God. The first man, Adam, through disobedience, fell from the grace of God and, thus, sin and death entered into the world. Adam’s transgression incurred not only physical death for man, but also spiritual death which is eternal separation from God. Man’s propensity to sin because of his sinful nature necessitates salvation from the power of sin and a saviour to provide that salvation.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Rom 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.

  • SALVATION OF MAN

Man’s only hope of redemption and salvation from sin is through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. His blood is completely sufficient to deliver every person from the power and penalty of sin. That through faith in The Lord Jesus Christ we might be saved.

Rom 5: 6, 19, 21 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. 21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

  • IMMASION BAPTISM

Baptism in water is commanded in the scriptures. All who repent of their sins and believe in Christ as saviour and Lord are to be baptized.

Matt 28: 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost

  • THE HOLY GHOST BAPTISM

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking in tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance.

John 3: 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

  • HOLY COMMUNION

The Lord’s Supper, consisting of bread and a cup of the fruit of the vine, is a memorial of Jesus’ suffering and a celebration of His resurrection to be enjoyed by all believers until He comes again.

1Corinth 11: 23-26 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: 24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. 26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.

  • EVER INCREASING FAITH

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith is of the heart and is based on the hearing of God’s word. Without faith it is impossible to please (God) Him. Christians are saved through faith, justified by faith, shall live by faith, and overcome the world by faith.

Heb 11: 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.[1]

  • DIVINE HEALING

It is covenant provision to all the believers, because He is the God that healeth us.

Matt 10: 1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

Mark 16: 15-18 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

  • THE COMING OF JESUS CHRIST AND THE FINAL JUDGEMENT

Jesus is coming again. There will be the resurrection of the righteous and the wicked. The wicked will be judged and the righteous will be ushered into the everlasting kingdom of God.

1Corinth 15: 12-18 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith isalso vain. 15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. 16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: 17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. 18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

2Cor 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
